'Sunpu Castle Summer Festival 2026' will be held over 2 days on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Sunpu Castle Park in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City. With the theme 'A summer festival created together with youth,' diverse contents are scheduled to unfold, including live music performances, projects linked with SBS TV and SBS Radio, and initiatives by corporations and students. Food and beverage booths will also be set up at the venue, allowing visitors to enjoy summer moments. Admission is free. Opening hours are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on both days. The event is organized by the Sunpu Castle Summer Festival Executive Committee (Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Shizuoka Shimbun and Shizuoka Broadcasting System). Accessible on foot in about 15 minutes from JR Shizuoka Station; public transportation is recommended as no parking is available.
