Himenosawa Park August Event: Children's Summer Festival

In August, Himenosawa Park hosts a variety of fun events for children under the title "Children's Summer Festival." At the Fureai Beetle Land, a corner will be set up where visitors can observe and interact with captive-bred rhinoceros beetles, stag beetles, and insects native to the park. Workshops will also be held where participants can create original designed wind chimes and herbal sachets (scent bags). In addition, visitors can enjoy "Ice Treasure Hunting" to search for treasures frozen inside ice, making rubber band guns using thinned wood, and crafting "Goldfish Slime" with mini goldfish figurines for a cool summer touch. Those who take on the "Himenosawa Nature Drill Challenge! Insect Edition" during the event period will receive a commemorative gift. Furthermore, from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, the "Shizuoka Prefecture Citizen's Day Event Rally" will be held, awarding commemorative gifts to participants who take part in 3 types of events, including crafting experiences. These events are perfect for creating wonderful summer vacation memories for children.
