Rice Harvesting Experience

About this event

An annual rice harvesting experience event held at Kanade no Mori Resorts. Participants will harvest the rice that was planted during Golden Week this year. You can experience the valuable activity of stepping into golden fields and harvesting rice plants using sickles. The harvested rice will be sold and shipped at a later date to those who request it after drying and polishing (Koshihikari 5kg for 3,500 yen, shipping and packaging cardboard fees separate). Shower facilities are also available for use at Kanade no Mori Resorts after the rice harvesting (for a fee). Event participants can choose between a plan to enjoy rice harvesting and imoni stew (1,500 yen) or a plan to enjoy viewing and imoni stew (700 yen). Because bladed tools are used, children of elementary school age and under must be accompanied by a guardian. Please bring clothes you do not mind getting dirty, a change of clothes, a towel, and drinks.
