Shimada Industrial Festival

About this event

This is a historic event held since 1983 (Showa 58) to showcase local industries and promote industry within the city through the exhibition, sale, and promotion of industrial products, local specialties, and agricultural goods produced in Shimada City. In 2026 (Reiwa 8), it will be held on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15. At the venue, exhibitions and sales of industrial products by local companies, sales of food, daily goods, and clothing by local shops and associations, as well as sales of agricultural products, local goods, and processed foods will be held. In addition, visitors can enjoy hand-rolled tea demonstrations/sales and tea tastings/sales. The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 14, at 9:30 AM on the south stage of Obi-dori Street. Featuring a parent-child woodworking class, a disaster prevention fair, and an international exchange festival, this event allows visitors to fully experience the appeal of local industries.
