Moon Terrace Lounge: An Evening on the Tsukimidai

Held to coincide with the harvest moon, this is an autumn-only lounge event at Sanyoso in Izunokuni City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Set on the "Tsukimidai" (moon-viewing platform) surrounded by historic, renowned architecture and an expansive Japanese garden, you can spend a relaxing autumn evening savoring kaiseki cuisine featuring seasonal flavors alongside carefully selected alcoholic beverages. Different entertainments are prepared each day during the event period: an elegant live flute and keyboard performance on the first day, Friday, September 25; traditional Japanese geisha dances on Saturday the 26th; and live jazz music with violin and guitar on the final day, Sunday the 27th. Bathed in soft moonlight, this special event offers a luxurious experience for adults where music, traditional performing arts, and delicious cuisine come together.
