Izunokuni Historical Circuit Ride

A cycling tour visiting the rice ears and history of autumn Izu. Held regularly by CyclingFriends as a day-trip cycling tour to rediscover Japan's charm. Set in Izunokuni where rice ears can be enjoyed even in mid-October, this is a flat tour for beginners riding along rice paddy paths and the Kano River Cycling Road, visiting mountain villages. It is open to elementary school students and older. On the tour, participants are scheduled to visit Egawa House, a cultural heritage site in Nirayama, and the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnaces, which are registered as a World Heritage Site.
