The 58th Kannami Town Cultural Festival will be held. This event is divided into the first period, the Performing Arts Festival, and the second period; the Performing Arts Festival takes place from Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 4, Reiwa 8 (2026). The venues are the Kannami Town Culture Center and the Kannami Town Seibu (Western) Community Center. A town residents' artwork exhibition is also held during the same period, featuring creative works by residents such as paintings, photography, calligraphy, handicrafts, craft arts, literature, and ikebana (flower arrangement). Residents living or working in the town are eligible to submit their original creations. The exhibition period runs from Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, October 11, Reiwa 8 (2026) at the Culture Center Multipurpose Hall. Those exhibiting works must attend an orientation meeting held at the Kannami Town Culture Center 2nd Floor Small Hall on Saturday, September 5, Reiwa 8 (2026) at 7:00 PM. This cultural festival provides an opportunity for town residents to present the achievements of their cultural activities and deepen social exchange.
