58th Kannami Town Cultural Festival (Second Half)

The second half of the 58th Kannami Town Cultural Festival will be held. The Town Residents' Art Exhibition showcases creative works made by residents and workers in the town (excluding organizations affiliated with the Kannami Town Cultural Association), including paintings, photography, calligraphy, handicrafts, crafts, literature, and flower arrangement. The exhibition period is Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:30. The venue is the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Culture Center. Size regulations apply to submitted works: paintings up to size 20, photos up to wide four-cut (Yotsugiri Wide), calligraphy up to full sheet (Zenshi), handicrafts around 80 cm square for board display and around 50 cm square for table display, crafts around 50 cm square, literature around 50 cm square, and one arrangement for flower arrangement. Consultation is required if dimensions exceed these limits. To enter a work, application forms must be submitted to the Kannami Town Culture Center reception counter by Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 17:00. Application forms are available at the counter and can also be downloaded. Exhibitors are required to attend an orientation session held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 19:00 in the 2nd Floor Small Hall of the Kannami Town Culture Center.
