The 28th Okazaki Castle Park Cultural Festival

Celebrating its 28th edition this year, the Okazaki Castle Park Cultural Festival features a competitive karuta workshop booth at Tatsumi-kaku, held in cooperation with Aichi University of Education's Competitive Karuta Club "Yahesakura." Enjoyable for beginners to experienced players alike, it also includes mini-tournaments. Visitors can also purchase Okazaki's specialty "Komadachi grapes" and enjoy a music-and-dance collaboration stage by the Nishikawa School of traditional Japanese dance, "Odori Yume." Furthermore, there will be calligraphy workshops featuring brushwork by the head priest of Daiju-ji Temple, along with traditional game workshops like kendama and sugoroku. A "Find the Warlords!" stamp rally will also be held throughout the park, where you can tour activity booths and aim for prizes and Okazaki souvenirs. This event allows you to fully experience the culture and charms of Okazaki through various activities.
