The "BON☆BON Night Walking" set around JR Handa Station will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Taking place from 16:30 to 20:00, it is scheduled to be held on the same day as the Handa Citizens Bon Odori Festival. In case of rain, it will be postponed. The participation fee is 800 yen for advance registration and 1,000 yen on the day of the event. Payment is made at the reception on the event day. The application period runs from Wednesday, July 1 to Saturday, August 1, 2026, with a capacity of the first 200 applicants. All participants will receive a 1,500-yen coupon usable at cooperating shops in the JR Handa Station Front Shopping Street. In addition, as an opening act, a live performance by Neo Japanesque will start at 17:00 around the south side of MIM and Nakamura Kaien, allowing visitors to enjoy a concert by a fusion band of Japanese and Western musical instruments. The walking route and time are flexible, letting you stroll leisurely around the town. As a concurrent event, the "Ghost Street" organized by the JR Handa Station Front Shopping Street will take place starting from 16:00.
