The 49th Bunkyo Matsuri (Performing Arts Convention)

This event is a performing arts convention held as part of the "Bunkyo Matsuri," organized by the Agui Town Cultural Association. Members of the Cultural Association will present a diverse range of performing arts, including Nihon buyo (traditional Japanese dance), shigin (chanted poetry), minyo (folk dance), modern dance, wadaiko (Japanese drums), and traditional Japanese music. Held for many years to promote local culture and provide a platform for members' presentations, it offers town residents an opportunity to see the fruits of the members' daily activities. Concurrently at the venue, exhibitions of works created by members—such as photography, calligraphy, and crafts—will be on display, adding color to the autumn of the arts. It is a valuable opportunity to experience local culture and arts through presentations spanning various genres.
