Using the entire town of Okada in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture as its venue, 'CHITA MOMENT 2026' is an event promoting the history and modern appeal of Chita cotton (Chita momen). Over three weeks, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of content such as a creators' market, dyeing experiences, Chita cotton workshops, and town walking tours. In particular, the hands-on program 'CHITA MOMENT SCHOOL,' which gives shape to new ideas for Chita cotton, and the 'CREATORS MARKET,' featuring over 60 shops from within and outside the prefecture, will be unmissable opportunities for people interested in craftsmanship and regional revitalization. As an opening event, the talk event 'CHITAMOMENT MEETING' themed around textile culture and community development will also be held, exploring in depth the charm of Chita cotton and the potential of town planning in Okada.
