About this event
Held in Agui Town, Aichi Prefecture, "Esperance Art Tour 2026" is a tour exploring artworks housed in the Agui Town Labor and Welfare Center (Esperance Maruyama), which are not widely known but are actually famous Japanese paintings, oil paintings, calligraphies, and more. Designed so that even beginners in art appreciation can easily enjoy it, participants can learn about differences in Japanese painting schools, art materials, and techniques in a small group together with Japanese painter and lecturer Yumi Kamiya. It provides an opportunity to encounter art in a familiar setting and is recommended for those who feel visiting art museums has a high hurdle. The tour is held twice, with a morning session and an afternoon session, with a capacity of 10 people per session and free participation.
