20th Asian Games Torch Relay & Goal Celebration

Held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, the "20th Asian Games Torch Relay & Goal Celebration" is an event celebrating the arrival of the Asian Games torch at Toyota Stadium. During the celebration, performances by the Toyota Otani High School Dance Club and musical performances by "Matsudaira Wadaiko" will be showcased, along with an interview with torchbearer Yuma Yamamoto. The torch relay starts around 11:00 AM around the East Exit of Toyota-shi Station, finishing at the Toyota Stadium West Event Plaza. The Goal Celebration will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with 200 spectator seats prepared (including a 100-seat priority quota for Toyota City residents). A lottery will be held in the event of excess applications. Standing-room viewing is possible even without an application for spectator seats. This event serves as an important ceremony to build excitement for the Asian Games, offering local residents and visitors an opportunity to heighten their anticipation for the tournament.
