The "35th Shinshiro Takigi Noh" will be held in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture, on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The venue is the Small Hall of the Shinshiro Regional Cultural Plaza, and admission is free. On the day, the Noh play "Funa Benkei" and the Kyogen play "Fumi Ninai" will be performed. Doors open at 12:30, the performance starts at 13:00, and it is scheduled to end at 15:30. This Takigi Noh is hosted by Shinshiro City and the Shinshiro City Board of Education, contributing to the promotion of local culture. It is characterized by Noh performances by local townspeople other than professional actors, which is rare nationwide, making it an event unique to Shinshiro City as it aims to be a home of Noh theater.
