The 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026) Men's Road Race

As part of the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026), the largest sporting event in Asia, the Men's Road Race will be held in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture. Organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) with 45 Asian countries and regions participating, this tournament is Asia's premier bicycle road race event. In Shinshiro City, the Men's Road Race cycling event will take place on Wednesday (national holiday), September 23, 2026. During the event period, cooperation in easing traffic congestion is requested, and spectators are asked to refrain from watching on the course itself or in places without sidewalks. Consideration for nearby residents is also requested when watching the race. Spectator parking is scheduled to be provided, but advance reservations may be required for details. Various initiatives leading up to the Games have been carried out in Shinshiro City, including criteriums and cycling classes held in the past. The torch relay is also scheduled to be held in Shinshiro City, enlivening the event. Furthermore, a seminar will be held with a cycle photographer to learn tips for watching bicycle road races, providing an opportunity to enjoy the tournament more deeply.
