The 3rd Shinshiro Fureai Festival

Held inside the Shinshiro Cultural Center, the Free Plaza, and Hananoki Plaza in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture, the "3rd Shinshiro Fureai Festival" is an event you can enjoy all day long with hands-on experiences, play, gourmet food, and even a bingo tournament. There are plenty of valuable, unusual experiences such as experiencing the earthquake simulator vehicle "Namazu-go," a tea ceremony preparation workshop, and a backstage tour of the main hall. Featuring bouncy play equipment for children and a photo corner with a police car, the entire family can have a wonderful time. Kitchen cars and market stalls gather delicious gourmet food and various shops. A wide variety of free hands-on corners are also available, including a disaster prevention corner for parents and children to learn together, playing card magic, handicrafts (macrame making), and origami. The opening is highlighted by a powerful performance from the all-female taiko drumming group "Beni-daiko." A bingo tournament will also be held to liven up the venue. Admission is free.
