About this event
Held in front of Otagawa Station in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, 'WA! Fes 2026' is a participatory event aimed at enjoying the same time together across generations and positions, and broadening connections between people. The 'WA' in the event name carries various meanings, such as 'wa' (circle/loop) connecting people with people, 'wa' (harmony) connecting generations, and 'wa' (dialogue/talk) creating conversation. During the daytime, 'The World's Kindest Sports Day' will be held, which a wide range of generations from babies to the elderly can enjoy together. In addition, the 'Reward Marche' will be held concurrently, allowing visitors to enjoy interacting with stallholders and shopping while exploring the venue between events. From the evening, a 'Prayer Lanterns' program using lanterns will take place; distinct from the lively daytime atmosphere, participants share a special time surrounded by lantern light. The charm of WA! Fes lies in offering a diverse variety of ways to enjoy the day, from the sports day and marche to the night lanterns. It is an event where you can spend a time slightly different from the usual marche in front of autumn Otagawa Station, participating together across generations.
