Sign Language Day Light-up Event

About this event

Every year, September 23 is "Sign Language Day." This event is held to deepen understanding of sign language and aim for an inclusive society where everyone can live with peace of mind. The Takahama City Hall Main Building will be illuminated in blue, the symbolic color. Participants bring flashlights to watch the blue illumination together. The event is organized by Hekinan Takahama Teentai / Akai Fusen, with cooperation from the Takahama City Association for the Welfare of Persons with Physical Disabilities. The gathering time is 17:30, and the illumination takes place from 18:30 to 19:00.
