Held in Kota Town, Aichi Prefecture, "Happiness Hill Yose Part 20: Sanyutei Koyuza & Katsura Miyaji Two-Man Show" is a rare joint performance by two leading rakugo storytellers, Master Sanyutei Koyuza and Master Katsura Miyaji. Originating from Yamanashi Prefecture, Master Sanyutei Koyuza apprenticed under the 3rd Yuza in 1968 while studying at Meiji University, and was promoted to shin'uchi (master rank) in 1983. Well known as a regular on Nippon TV's "Shoten," he captivates audiences with his skillful storytelling and humor. Meanwhile, Master Katsura Miyaji, a Tokyo native, entered the rakugo world in 2008 under Katsura Shinji after working as a cosmetics salesman. He was promoted to futatsume in 2012 and shin'uchi in 2021, winning numerous awards. He is also active as a "Shoten" regular and attracts attention as a talented young storyteller. This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the distinct rakugo styles of both performers at once. The venue is Sakura Hall in Kota Civic Hall, and admission is 4,000 yen for all reserved seats. Preschool children are not admitted. Tickets are sold at Kota Civic Hall Ticket Center, the hall's website, Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket, etc. Web member pre-sales start Sunday, August 2 at 10:00, phone reservations/ticket agencies/web sales start Sunday, August 9 at 10:00, and over-the-counter sales start Tuesday (national holiday), August 11 at 9:00.
