"Autumn Ise Rakuichi Market" is a market dedicated to local products from the Ise region, held around Geku-mae Plaza on the approach to the Toyouke Daijingu (Geku/Outer Shrine) of Ise Grand Shrine. Typically, nearly 50 shops participate, offering exquisite seasonal blessings of nature such as seafood and mountain produce from Ise-Shima, Japanese spiny lobster (Ise-ebi), turban shell, dried shark meat (same-no-tare), Ise udon noodles, and Ise pickled radish (Ise takuan). Held twice a year to showcase local products and crafts, unearth the charms of Ise, and entertain both locals and tourists, visiting to look for good and delicious items may lead you to wonderful Ise-Shima specialties you have yet to discover.
