Kudzumoto Yasuaki Exhibition: Fields Become Wilderness

This exhibition presents art installations in a traditional Japanese house set within the historic atmosphere of the Former Sukodo, created through Yasuaki Kudzumoto's unique techniques utilizing materials such as polystyrene foam, plaster, and paint. The venue, the Historic Site Former Sukodo, is located at 78-1 Uenomarunouchi, Iga City, Mie Prefecture, and welcomes visitors into an art space distinct from its everyday setting. While the venue is closed on Tuesdays during the exhibition period, special evening openings will be held on October 10 and 11, allowing visitors to enjoy the artworks during different hours than usual. Admission is free, offering a valuable opportunity to experience the artistic world of Yasuaki Kudzumoto at leisure. The event is organized by the Iga City Cultural City Association and supported by Iga City and the Iga City Board of Education.
