At de-Ai Hiroba in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture, "Kusatsu Dream Festival ~ Decorate Everyone's Dreams with a Summer Festival ~" will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 15:00 to 20:00, offering a cool evening summer festival. With the concept of "a festival where children can enjoy themselves with pocket money," around 30 booths will offer delicious food and fun festival games. The freely distributed "JC Man Cards" are all holographic glitter cards. For active kids, a free time-attack obstacle course called the "Soccer Agility Booth" incorporates soccer movements with three difficulty levels and participation prize snacks. From 16:00 to 17:00, popular YouTubers Makihika and Ume-chan will challenge the course, and visitors can try to beat their times. Stage events will be lively throughout, starting with an opening ceremony, followed by Japanese taiko drumming, dancing, acoustic music performances, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament with Reilac Shiga FC. The finale of the festival features a grand raffle where prizes like a Nintendo Switch 2 and Omi beef can be won. Raffle tickets are limited to the first 1,000 participants for students up to high school age. Novelty gifts (such as erasers) will be prepared for children who participate until the end even if they do not win.
