11th Shiga Prefecture Traffic Safety Fair

About this event

Under the theme of "Let's Have Fun Learning Traffic Rules," this free-admission event allows the whole family to enjoy learning about traffic safety. Working vehicles and heroes will appear, allowing visitors to see, touch, and learn traffic rules. Special events include a Kamen Rider show, the "Life Message Exhibition" conveying the preciousness of life, and lectures on traffic safety. Various hands-on traffic safety corners are provided, such as police motorcycle demonstration runs, exhibits of fire engines and police cars, a truck-pulling experience, and a bus boarding and disembarking experience. In addition, a grand lottery and food trucks will be featured, offering content that families can enjoy all day. At the venue, traffic safety quizzes where participants can receive balloons, projects to learn about disaster search dogs, introductions to NASVA operations with driving aptitude test experiences, and the issuance of children's driver's licenses will also be conducted. On stage, performances by the Shiga Prefectural Police Band, kids' dance groups, and others will be showcased. For venue access, visitors are encouraged to use the temporary parking lot served by free shuttle buses or arrive by public transportation.
