The 54th Yawata Citizens' Cultural Festival will be held at various venues including the Yawata City Cultural Center, the Citizens' Plaza on the 4th floor of Yawata City Hall, and the piloti in front of the main entrance of Yawata City Hall. The stage performance section will feature performances across a wide variety of genres, such as shigin (recitation of Chinese poems), minyo (folk songs), yokyoku (Noh chanting), sankyoku (traditional trio music), Western music, traditional Japanese dance, popular songs, modern dance, wadaiko (Japanese drums), ocarina, and tai chi. The exhibition section will showcase works across diverse fields including calligraphy, orchids, tanka, haiku, paintings, flower arrangement (ikebana), pottery, photography, handicrafts, and history, allowing visitors to appreciate the achievements of local artistic activities. In addition, at the Citizens' Tea Ceremony, visitors can experience traditional Japanese tea ceremony culture by purchasing a tea ticket for 500 yen. Furthermore, a program featuring dancing to the Yawata Ondo and Kyoto Yawata Kouta is scheduled, offering an opportunity to experience culture rooted in the local community. Free shuttle buses connecting the venues will also operate, making it easy to visit. Tickets for the Citizens' Tea Ceremony will be sold at the venue on the day of the event.
