About this event
This is a tour where visitors can experience ancient life while engaging with history and culture at the Kuni Palace Site (Kuni-no-miya), where Emperor Shomu established the imperial capital during the Nara period. Programs that let you experience the culture of the era through all five senses are provided, including Wado Kaichin coin casting, roof tile making, tea tasting, and Tenpyo costume dress-up. Why not immerse yourself in the romance of antiquity as this legendary capital is brought back to life? The tour explores the area surrounding the Kuni Palace Site and includes historical exploration guides, archaeological excavation experiences, and Nara period roof tile replica making. Lunch is also provided, and an admission visit to Kaijusen-ji Temple is included in this comprehensive package. Please note that advance registration is required, and an application deadline is set.
