Toyonaka Matsuri 2026 will be held at Teshima Park on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026. Considering the recent summer heat, the Toyonaka Matsuri was moved to autumn starting in 2024, making this October timing a welcome event. While past summer editions sometimes faced intense heatwaves, holding it in autumn allows visitors to enjoy the festival more comfortably. In 2025, a new area called the Toyonaka Umaimon Area was added, enhancing the unique local flavor of Toyonaka even further. Following last year's festival celebrating the 90th anniversary of the municipal organization of Toyonaka City, there is great interest in what this year will bring. With recruitment for volunteers, sponsorship requests, and calls for participants in the 28th Toyonaka Amateur Singing Contest and Dance Contest, this festival brings the entire community together for an exciting celebration.
