Toyonaka City 90th Municipal Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony & Event

Toyonaka City will mark its 90th municipal anniversary on October 15, 2026 (Reiwa 8). To celebrate this 90th anniversary together with citizens and deepen pride and affection for the city, a commemorative ceremony and event will be held at the Toyonaka Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The commemorative ceremony will feature cheerleading performances by Mino-Jiyu Gakuen High School and Baika High School, a screening of the 90th municipal anniversary video, performances of the national and city anthems by the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, formal addresses by the Mayor and City Council Chairperson of Toyonaka, the 90th municipal anniversary mayoral awards, and guest congratulatory remarks. In addition, the commemorative event (concert) will include a talk show featuring guests connected to Toyonaka City, collaborative performances by local junior high school brass bands and the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, and a concert by the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra. Furthermore, performances including light music and dance by local high school students will take place in the Small Hall of the Toyonaka Performing Arts Center. Please note that advance application is required for some viewing programs.
