37th IKEDA Culture DAY
Japanese name:第37回 IKEDA文化DAY
📅 Sat, Oct 31, 2026 - Tue, Nov 3, 2026
About this event
Ikeda City in Osaka Prefecture is blessed with rich nature, history, and cultural heritage, having flourished as a center of Hokusetsu culture since ancient times. Known as the place where weaving was introduced to Japan, it also actively fostered cultured individuals during the Edo period, cultivating the foundations of a cultural city. 'IKEDA Culture DAY' is held to help people feel closer to Ikeda as a city of culture, and to provide a venue for presentations and exchanges among those promoting cultural activities. During the event, various facilities across the city—such as the Itsuo Art Museum, Rakugo Museum, Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda, and Ikeda Castle Site Park—will be filled with cultural activities. A 'Culture Exploration Rally' connecting these spots will be organized, free to join and start from any location. By visiting the 13 checkpoints and collecting all the stamps, participants receive a participation prize and a chance to win gifts via lottery. Why not spend an autumn day visiting Ikeda, a town of history and culture?
