About this event

At Hirakata T-SITE in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, the "6th All-Japan Pudding Fair" will be held, bringing together a wide variety of puddings from across the country. At this event, visitors can enjoy a total of 42 types of pudding, including 11 newly featured varieties. Of particular interest are the "Sand Pudding," inspired by the Tottori Sand Dunes, and the newly debuting "Adult Sand Pudding." The "Sand Pudding" offers a novel texture with crunchy sensations by sprinkling the included powdered caramel, while the "Adult Sand Pudding" is finished with cinnamon and rum raisins for a more sophisticated flavor. In addition, from Fukui Prefecture, the popular "Dinosaur Excavation Pudding" makes an appearance, featuring a hidden "dinosaur chocolate" inside a pudding inspired by 100-million-year-old fossils, offering the excitement of an archaeological dig. Because the lineup changes between the first and second halves of the event period, visitors can compare and taste different local puddings across periods. In the first half (August 27 to 29), offerings include Osaka Prefecture's "Haniwa Pudding" (custard, chocolate, and matcha). In the second half (August 30 to September 1), Miyazaki Prefecture's "Ai Pudding" and "Koi Pudding," said to have received blessings for matchmaking at Aoshima Shrine, will debut. In addition, uniquely distinct puddings from across Japan will be featured, such as Kyoto Prefecture's firm-textured "Hanazono Pudding."
