Under the slogan "Let's protect our health by ourselves," the "2026 Health and Food Education Fair & Kenko Takatsuki 21 Symposium" will be held in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture. In this event, the 21st "Kenko Takatsuki 21 Symposium" will take place in the Medium Hall from 10:00 to 12:15 under the theme "Things You Should Know About the Pancreas." At the opening, there will be a concert by the Fire Department Band, followed by a lecture titled "Let's Protect Your Pancreas: What You Can Do from Today for Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer" by Ken Ogura of Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University Hospital. In addition, a panel discussion will be held featuring Ogura, Hitoshi Hongo (President and Director of Fujita Gastrointestinal Hospital), and Hiroshi Kurokawa (Vice President of Takatsuki Medical Association) as panelists, with Koichi Kono (President of Takatsuki Health Promotion Council) serving as coordinator. Besides the symposium, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the venue and other areas from 10:15 to 15:00, there will be numerous experience booths and panel exhibits including health consultations, dental checkups, simple physical fitness tests, food education quizzes, and Vege-Check vegetable intake checks. A mini fire truck display and ride experience will also be available, allowing visitors to enjoyably learn useful health and food education information. Quiz rally participants will receive a gift (first 820 people). In addition, from 13:30 to 15:30 in the Medium Hall, performances such as hula dance and kids dance will be held under the title "Jump to Health Promotion," and visitors will receive a commemorative gift (first 1,000 people). Questions for the symposium are accepted from Saturday, August 1 to Monday, August 10, offering a valuable opportunity to ask panelists questions about daily health concerns. This event is eligible for points in Osaka Prefecture's free health app "Asmile," where points are accumulated by recording daily health promotion activities.
