On Saturday, August 22, 2026, a summer festival event for families with children, "VILLAGE FESTIVAL", will be held at Ama Site Park in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture. Organized by "BEIT Inc. Village Kids", which operates small-scale daycare centers, this event with the theme of "Festival!" reserves the History Experience Hall of Ama Site Park and its surrounding area for a wide variety of activities. On the day, in addition to programs planned by Village Kids staff, stage events featuring special guests are scheduled, and Takatsuki City's mascot character "Hanitan" will also make an appearance. The venue will feature summer festival food stalls and game corners offering shaved ice, frankfurters, fish catching games, target shooting, gacha-gacha capsule toys, and more. Photo spots will also be available for taking memorable pictures. Furthermore, the event is packed with summer-exclusive activities such as soap bubbles and watermelon splitting, offering plenty of fun projects to create wonderful summer vacation memories for children. The event runs from 10:30 to 14:30, and admission is free. It will proceed rain or shine, with on-the-day reception.
