About this event

The 2026 Tadaoka Town Health and Happiness Festival, held according to the Tadaoka Town Hall official website under the theme 'Let's move our bodies together as parent and child!', is an event supporting the health promotion of town residents. A wide variety of programs are prepared so that the whole family, from small children to adults, can enjoy building health together. At the 'Health Measurement' corner where you can check your daily health status, in addition to vascular age, brain age, lung age, and body composition measurements, you can also check for frailty through grip strength tests and the finger-ring test. Exercise and play classes that children can enjoy, as well as a project offering a free gym experience (provided by Sports Club Copin Tadaoka), will also be conducted. Furthermore, in the 'First Aid Class to Protect Small Lives' by the Tadaoka Town Fire Department, you can learn about aspiration prevention and emergency responses, and participate together with your children. You can also experience a anemia check and sample highly nutritious 'Kenko Onigiri' rice balls (limited quantity) conceived by Hagoromo International University students, providing an opportunity to review your daily dietary habits. A sticker rally, balloon challenge, fire truck and ambulance exhibition, and water fire extinguisher experience are also available for children to enjoy, making it an event for the entire family. There will be souvenirs for visitors, and bringing your own shopping bag (eco-bag) is recommended. On the day, entry from the town hall main entrance is not permitted; visitors must complete reception on the 1st floor of the South Building before entering.
