About this event

This is a tasting event bringing together Japanese sake made from Hyogo-grown Yamada Nishiki rice across the country, as well as local sake from within the prefecture including the Harima region. With a charity donation of 1,000 yen or more, you will receive a Kanbei cup and 5 sake-tasting tickets. On the special stage, events such as komodaru (straw-wrapped sake barrel) making demonstrations, a Yamada Nishiki 90th anniversary lecture, sake tasting workshops, and a sake tasting competition will be held. Around 100 varieties of sake from approximately 70 breweries will be gathered, alongside food pairings such as Himeji oden. Programs such as mini-komodaru painting experiences, sake tasting workshops, and sake tasting competitions will also be available, some of which require advance registration. The venue is Arcrea HIMEJI's Main Hall or Exhibition Halls A, B, C, and the Outdoor Exhibition Area.
