Held at Tenjingawa Elementary School in Itami City, the 'Tenjingawa District Summer Festival & Settsu Ondo Bon Odori Festival' is a classic summer tradition enjoyed by local residents coming together. A wide range of generations, from children to seniors, participate, and the game stalls and food/drink vendors become very lively. In particular, the Bon Odori dance by the Settsu Ondo Preservation Society features multiple rings of dancers expanding around the scaffold tower (yagura), creating a lively space for local community interaction. A live performance of the song 'WASSOI Itami' will also be presented, further heightening the festival's excitement. This festival is an ideal event for making summer memories where you can directly experience the warm, unique local atmosphere.
