Asuka 3 Welcome and Send-off Event

About this event

To celebrate the port call of the cruise ship 'Asuka 3' at Abashiri Port, a welcome and send-off event will be held. Warm hospitality will be provided, including a brass band performance by Abashiri Elementary School students and free servings of Abashiri Champon (available until supplies run out). Local specialty sales and a kitchen car (soft serve ice cream) will also be present for visitors to enjoy. Waving large big-catch flags (tairyobata) to send off the ship will make for an emotional spectacle. On-board ship tours will not be conducted. Parking for general visitors is also available.
