Mount Hyonosen Autumn Foliage Mountain Climbing Festival

Held in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture, the 'Mount Hyonosen Autumn Foliage Mountain Climbing Festival' is an event where participants can experience mountain climbing while enjoying the beautiful autumn leaves of Mount Hyonosen. The climbing course for strong walkers covers a distance of 12.1 km and takes approximately 7 hours. The event spans two days, including an eve festival and the climb day. The eve festival features a dinner made with local ingredients, a concert by Yabu Taiko Kosai, and an exciting raffle. On the day of the climb, climbing certificates are issued, and zenzai (sweet red bean soup) is served after descending. Participants will receive a commemorative badge. The capacity is 200 people, and advance reservations are strictly required. Two plans are available: overnight stay participation and day participation, with overnight stay participation including dinner at the eve festival, breakfast, and a bento box on the day of the climb.
