Autumn Awaichi Challenge Ride 2026

About this event

The 'Autumn Awaichi Challenge Ride 2026', a cycling event set on Awaji Island in autumn, will be held. Courses in three distances—55 km, 100 km, and 150 km—are available, allowing participants from beginners to advanced riders to join according to their level and goals. Its appeal lies in being able to fully enjoy gourmet food unique to Awaji Island while riding along scenic coastal views and nature-rich mountainous areas. Participants will receive a 1,500 yen food-and-drink voucher, and support cars will patrol on the day, allowing riders to take on the long ride with peace of mind. Since it is not a race, riding pace and break timings are flexible, allowing participants to enjoy it like sightseeing by taking photos with the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge or the Awaichi Monument in the background, or being refreshed by the island's nature. At the start and finish point, 'Roadside Station Awaji', visitors can also enjoy delicacies and specialty products unique to Awaji Island.
