Experience an Artistic Autumn! Seal Engraving and Hori Residence Tour

About this event

This workshop is held as part of "Machiya no Gakko in Tatsuno," a participatory art event that utilizes historical heritage set in the Tatsuno area of Tatsuno City. Participants can cultivate their artistic sensibilities around the themes of the Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and the Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property "Hori Family Residence." In this event, a workshop will be conducted on making rakkan seals and using original washi paper crafted from local industry materials. The instructor is Maiko Mizuguchi. The venues are the Hori Family Residence and the Hori Family Front New Residence, held as a collaborative project with Kids Tatsunogaku. The capacity is 15 participants.
