13th Candle Night Gathering
Japanese name:第13回 キャンドルナイトの集い
📅 Sat, Oct 10, 2026
About this event
Hosted by Katsuragi City, the 13th Candle Night Gathering is an event designed to raise awareness of environmental issues. Calling for energy conservation and the recycling of used cooking oil (tempura oil), 3,500 candles will be lit at the Shinjo Dai-ni Citizen Athletic Field venue, creating a magical space. On the day of the event, there will be plenty of attractions for both children and adults, including mini live concerts, food trucks, nostalgic game corners like ring toss and bouncy ball scooping, hands-on experience booths, workshops, and environmental PR corners. A highlight is the workshop where visitors can make eco-friendly candles using wax crafted from waste cooking oil. Visitors can spend an unforgettable evening wrapped in the gentle glow of candlelight.
