"Umenoyado Autumn Brewery Opening 2026" will be held for two days on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Umenoyado Brewery Co., Ltd. in Katsuragi City, Nara Prefecture. In addition to the "Adult Premium Brewery Tour" where visitors can tour the usually off-limits production area guided by sake brewing professionals, you can enjoy exclusive drinks and delicious gourmet pairings that can only be tasted here, such as a limited "UMENOYADO GIN" cocktail chosen by voting in the fan community "Umeno KURABU" and a brewery-opening limited sake brewed with Omachi rice. The venue will be enlivened by comedy shows, mock sumo wrestling & sumo jinku chanting, and brass band performances. At this historic sake brewery in Nara, the birthplace of sake, you can fully immerse yourself in sake and gourmet food for two days. Fragrant "Aichi-produced live eel grilled over binchotan charcoal" and "authentic chanko stew made by former sumo wrestlers" will also be served.
