About this event

The 'Koryo Kaguya-hime Festival', held annually in Koryo Town, will take place again in fiscal year 2026. This year's theme is 'Greetings', aiming for an event where residents cheerfully greet each other. It will be a festival to deepen regional interaction, overflowing with bright voices and smiles from the stages, shops, and passersby. On the Special Town Residents Stage, residents engaged in expressive activities such as singing, dancing, playing instruments, poetry reading, and theatrical performance will have an opportunity to showcase their daily achievements on the main stage right before the fireworks display, which is the climax of the event. If there are multiple applicants, performers will be decided via a contest format. In addition, the 'Anything Goes Performance' program is recruiting performers to deliver free performances within 5 minutes on the main stage of the Koryo Kaguya-hime Festival. Furthermore, in the Town Residents Booth area, non-profit organizations and individuals active in Koryo Town can promote their activity achievements, sell goods and services, and present hands-on content. Set at the Minna no Hiroba (Everyone's Plaza) in Taketori Park, this is a community-rooted festival promoting participation and interaction among town residents.
