About this event

This is a special program to visit the "Tobisari Festival," an autumn festival held at Kushitamahime-no-Mikoto Shrine in Koryo Town, Nara Prefecture, together with Isao Shikadani, who has been involved in the research and protection of folk cultural properties. On the day of Yoimiya (the eve of the festival), danjiri floats from four districts of Hashio parade through the town and gather on the shrine approach in the evening. Highlights include the powerful spectacle of the danjiri rushing close to the worship hall and the spirited Ise Ondo songs sung by young people. After a lecture at Hashio Genki Mura, participants will observe the danjiri parading through the town and head to the shrine. The Miyairi (shrine entry) starting at 7:30 PM can be observed freely, allowing you to fully enjoy the festival atmosphere. This program is exclusive to "Nara Fan Club" members.
