About this event
The 'Parade of Light 2026', held in Miyake Town, Nara Prefecture, is an art event of light created by children together with students from Nara College of Arts. Centered around the Community Exchange Center MiiMo, a magical world of light will spread out with candle art and illuminations. Works created in workshops will also be displayed alongside the candle art, delighting visitors. Furthermore, projection mapping will further adorn the mystical scenery. On the day, children's events and kitchen cars will also be present, providing content that can be enjoyed all day long. At the 'Children's Art Workshop', participants can take home their created works or display them at the venue on the day. A project where participants' coloring pictures are projected via projection mapping is also planned. With a packed program including bingo games, candle lighting, and projection mapping, a special night wrapped in light and art will be produced.
