This is a special journey available only on this tour, where you encounter a tree about to be felled and receive its life. This tree felling is "special," offering a journey to witness that moment from "the best seats." On the first day, a lecture featuring valuable talks on Yoshino forestry and cedar trees will be held. In the main event on the second day, the main felling dedication, it begins with a purification ritual (kiyoharai), followed by sacred dance and music (bugaku) by a Ryujin painter, Japanese taiko drums, and shinobue flute sounds echoing surrounded by a man-made forest over 270 years old. Finally, the dedicated felling is carried out; the sound and vibration at the moment the tree falls are greater than imagined, letting you feel the scale of nature. For lunch, you will enjoy a luxurious bento lunch in the mountains surrounded by nature.
