Set in Tanabe Bay in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, the "56th Tanabe Fireworks Festival" features wide panoramic fireworks that extend beyond one's field of vision. Because the launch site and viewing area are close, spectators can experience the powerful fireworks up close. Colorful fireworks launched into the clear autumn night sky reflect onto the sea surface, creating a magical scene. The grand panorama fireworks spanning up to 1,000 meters are a must-see, offering a magnificent view that illuminates both the sky and the sea. Held on the same day as the Benkei Festival, one of its appeals is being able to enjoy fireworks alongside the festivities. Approximately 3,500 fireworks are scheduled to be launched.
