Hayashima Town 130th Municipal Anniversary Event 'History Lecture by Mr. Michifumi Isoda'

In commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the enforcement of the municipal town system of Hayashima Town, a history lecture will be held featuring Mr. Michifumi Isoda, a historian from Okayama Prefecture who is active nationwide, as the lecturer. Known as the author of 'Bushi no Kakeibo' (A Samurai's Household Account Book), Mr. Isoda has a well-established reputation as a researcher who explains the fascination of history in an easy-to-understand manner across numerous media such as television and newspapers. In this lecture, he will unravel the historical background of the region centered on Hayashima Town and the lessons left behind by predecessors from his unique perspective. It promises to be a lecture filled with learning and discovery, fitting for the 130th anniversary milestone of Hayashima Town. The lecture time is from 10:00 to 11:30, with doors opening at 9:00. Applications start on Monday, August 10, at 10:00, and will close once capacity is reached. Preschool children are not admitted. Elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian to participate. If using wheelchair seating, phone registration is required.
