25th Miyahama Onsen Festival

Held as a seasonal tradition marking the end of summer, the Miyahama Onsen Festival takes place at the Miyahama Onsen Ground Golf Course in the center of the hot spring town. Packed with unique original programs, it is an event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Highlights include the fiercely contested Miyajima Ping-Pong played with rice paddles held every year, and the popular World Pillow Fighting Championship, enlivened with live commentary by a local radio personality. On stage, you can enjoy performances of local traditional performing arts such as Karasugami Taiko drumming and powerful Kagura dances up close. Furthermore, with delicious food night stalls, a children's plaza, and a 'Hole-in-One Challenge', it is a festival packed with rich content. Please come out with your family to create fun memories of the final days of summer. Visitors will also be entertained by a grand fireworks display using commercial fireworks, along with live performances by the Kurusu Kagura Troupe and other guest artists.
