Children's Cultural Festival

About this event

'Children's Cultural Festival', a cultural festival where children are the stars and creators, will be held to present the achievements of traditional performing arts transmission activities carried out by children together with the local community. Groups from sister cities Akitakata City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and Chuncheon City, Republic of Korea, are also scheduled to perform. It is an event where visitors can appreciate the appeal of each traditional culture through seeing children earnestly engaging in traditional performing arts and intercultural exchanges with sister cities. In addition to programs by city groups such as Kasuga Oni Daiko, Hofu Tenmangu Kaguramai Beniwarabe Preservation Society, and Yoshifuyuki no Kai, performances by the Cheongeum Children's Art Troupe and Choomchuda Youth Company from sister city Chuncheon, Republic of Korea, and the Koriyama Children's Kagura Troupe from Akitakata City are also scheduled.
