Akiyoshidai Twilight Walking 2026

About this event

This walking event lets participants stroll across Akiyoshidai during the pleasant twilight hours, escaping the intense summer sun. Walking for about 2 and a half hours from Choja-ga-mori to Kitayama and Kanmuriyama, participants observe twilight plants and enjoy a light snack on the Akiyoshidai plateau. Strolling while watching the sunset offers a unique, spectacular view of Akiyoshidai, where the white limestone rocks are tinted a soft orange. It will be a special experience to feel the arrival of autumn.
